Children & Young People
The children and young people in our London, North West Area Meeting
- Are valued and recognised by their meetings as individuals in their own right
- Enjoy coming to meeting and making friends
- Are encouraged to be open to new ideas and a sense of seeking
- Share with and show concern for others
In our Sunday sessions they have opportunities to learn about Quakers, Christianity and other religions and philosophies. They have opportunities to discuss and consider moral and social issues. They also learn about love, peace and conflict resolution, as part of everyday life.
Parents are able to attend Meeting for Worship
Families are welcomed and supported to play an active part in the life of the Meeting with a growing sense of community.
All local meetings have in place welcoming plans for children and young people.
